Course Load, Grad School, General Advice?

My main question is how much course load matters for admission. Basically I only need 33 hours to graduate and my plan was to take 12 in fall, 12 in spring, and 9 in summer. Will it look better to take 15 or 18 hours instead this fall and spring? I'll also be looking for an internship for fall and spring as well.

The other thing is that I have been considering getting my Masters as a personal goal and I'm assuming that I will have a much better chance of admissions if I have a Masters as well?

I had some family problems early during undergrad and messed up a few semesters, but the last 24 hours have been all A's and I'll get A's the rest of my undergrad. When I graduate I'll have ~3.4 gpa overall and a ~3.9 at my current school. I will be applying to The University of Florida, Florida State, and probably Georgia (preference in that order).

Any advice will be appreciated.

Damien:
My son had 45 AP credits and could graduate undergrad in 2.5 years. Stayed all 4 and picked up another major/minor. He only took 12 credits each semester his last year (didn’t need more to finish the extra majors). He was accepted at UF and UGA (with good merit $). He had a higher overall GPA than you. What is is LSAT or did you not take it yet?

I have not taken it yet. I plan to take a year off and work/intern then I’m going to begin practicing in the spring and take it next fall.

This will not improve your chances of admissions. The LSDAS only calculates you a GPA up to your first bachelors degree.

I was thinking more along the lines of it being a solid credential to help my overall application.

It is to going to anything to boost your application. Save the $$ and put it toward paying for law school
