I'll be applying as a philosophy major (or maybe econ-philosophy for columbia) for fall '07. So far, I'm taking 1 upper-level philosophy seminar, 1 senior poli-sci seminar (don't ask..), and microeconomics. My question has to do with my fourth class. Would it radically improve my application if i took another upper-level philosophy class as opposed to a lower-level (but still necessary for the major) philosophy class?

The poli sci seminar is gonna kill me as it is, but the prof offered me a spot in it (I had him last year) and I'm sure it'll give me a solid recommendation.

take as many as possible.

thanks forgiven, i'm sure that's the best idea
