Course Note Takers

Does anyone know if the stipend for course note takers is 100 every quarter (regarless of the amount of lecture notes you turn in), or rather, 100 per every lecture you turn in? Thank you.

$100 per quarter of course.

If 100 per lecture, then a note taker could earn $3000 or more per quarter. They would make over $100 per hour in some cases, even more than the professor. I don't think that fund is present.

Is that per class or for all classes you take per quarter?

Well, it technically is $100 for simply doing the work you're supposed to do anyways.

$100 per class, per quarter.

don't they require you to have already taken the course before you can be a notetaker? or do they make exceptions when they start to get desperate?

It wouldn't make sense to ask students to attend lectures to classes they've already taken to take notes for only $100 a quarter. It'd be a waste of time.

Yeah it makes no sense, but that's their policy

my friend who was a notetaker last year did not take the course before getting paid to be a notetaker.

because as kalasin said, it wouldn't make any sense..and it'd be a pretty worthless policy.
