Course Plan Advice for High School

Hi all! I start my junior year next week. I am hoping to get some opinions on my course plan for high school. In college, I will be a dance major. I am planning on applying to University of Arizona, University of Cincinnati, Indiana University Bloomginton, Butler University, University of Southern California, Texas Christian University, University of California Irvine, and University of South Carolina Columbia.

FRESHMAN YEAR:
Honors Biology -> A
Honors English 9 -> A
Spanish 1 -> A
Phys Ed -> A
World History -> A
Bible 9 -> A
Algebra 2 -> A

SOPHOMORE YEAR:
English 10 Honors -> A
Chemistry -> B
Honors US History -> A
Honors Geometry -> A
Int Spanish -> A
Intro to Web -> A

JUNIOR YEAR:
English 11
AP Psychology
US Gov
Health
Environmental Science
Pre Calc/Trig

SENIOR YEAR:
AP English Language
Music Appreciation
Health Science/Forensic Science
Sociology
Contemporary World Issues

I will be at a dance program away from home with a rigorous dance schedule on top of schoolwork, so more than 1 AP a year isn’t highly recommended. Is this sufficient enough to get in academically to colleges that I listed??

I am also taking Spanish 2 my Junior year!

1° Many dance majors have restrictions or are auditions-only. You may have to add some colleges where your major isn"t “impacted” or “restricted”, but is open to all.
2° Lots of OOS public universities: what’s your parents’ budget? if you haven’t already, run the Net Price Calculator
3° you need at least one more year of foreign language

As MYOS said, run a Net Price Calculator. The UCs and USC are great schools, but you better be a rich white kid if you plan to attend out of state, especialyl with USC being a private instituion. Also, why not take Honors Pre-Calc and Spanish (or something). AP Psych is a ‘lite’ AP, so you should be able to balance dance and 1 or 2 honors along with an AP Course. Be aware of college apps during the fall of senior year; all that work and stress practically serves as another AP.

Well, actually, OOS helps for private institutions :-), but is detrimental if the university is public.
But overall, yes to the above.
Generally you should take the most rigorous classes that you can get at least a B in.
