i just found out today that one of my courses requires a reader. is the only way for me to get it to go down to the place on westwood blvd (where is it exactly?) or can i order it online or pick it up in the bookstore? thanks

yes you have to go down to "course reader materials". its on 1137 westwood...straight down westwood...past rite aid. its on the right side as you walk down. i dont know if there still is, but there was a pretty long line in front. (hint...if you pay cash, the line is much shorter since everyone uses credit)

On Friday I showed up 2 minutes before they closed and there was no line whatsoever. After walking all the way down there I was so happy I just barely made it haha.

Yeah I went down there today thinking maybe the line had dissipated and it was all the way around the block. I'll be going back tomorrow since I definitely didn't have the time to stand there today. Blah.

yeah, i'd definitely suggest going early in the morning... college students generally don't get up early so there shouldn't be much of a line...

nope, theres just this ONE shop in westwood that prints them. i swear, the owner of the shop must be filthy stinkin rich by now. it probably costs him like $5 or less to make each one, and hes selling them for $40, $50, $60, etc...

Yeah, supposedly they only charge 1 cent per page, and then they add on the copyright fee for each article/piece. My reader for Comm 100 is $38. Which isn't that bad, but still WAY more than what the professor was anticipating.

My reader from Comm 101 cost me $30. What I found odd is I always thought that Supreme Court cases were matters of public record, and not restricted by copyright laws.
