Course Selection for Senior Year

Here are the classes I want to take:
AP Eng Lit
AP Chem
AP Bio
AP Calc BC (I haven’t taken AP Calc AB. I don’t know if that matters.)
AP Gov
World Religions (required)

Is this schedule too intensive? I want to take these classes, but I’m really unsure whether I can handle all of them. It would be nice if comments had personal experiences with these classes.

If I had the option to drop one of these classes, I would take out AP Chem for AP Psych. I’m also applying for competative schools, like UC Berkeley or UCLA, so I’m not sure whether the GPA or the difficulty of the class matters. For my major, I am unsure.

How many AP classes are you taking this year and what are they?
I strongly suggest you only take 1 AP science class and drop down to AP Calc AB.
Your GPA the first semester of your Sr year matters a GREAT DEAL.
In addition, you will have what amounts to an part time job during your 1st semester ON TOP of all your classes- filling out college applications, writing essays, getting LOR’s from your Jr year teachers, making sure they are sent in, etc, etc.
So DONT overload you schedule. NO ONE in a college admissions office is going to be impressed if your GPA tanks because you took on too heavy a course load.
