Course Selection Help

Hello, I'm currently a sophomore and going onto junior year next year. So yeah, I just had a couple of question with my course selection for next year, so if any experts can help me decide that would be wonderful.

Ok, so at my school (it's ridiculous) but a person can only take 8 classes and no more that 4 ap classes.

Based on that my next year schedule is as follows:

Honors Concert/Marching Band
Honors Precalc
Honors Research in Molecular Genetics
AP Biology
AP English
AP US History II
Gym (mandatory)

Lastly... AP physics...
but this is the one course I'm not sure about, because currently it's not in my schedule. I'm taking an Honors Physics course (that's been approved) over the summer, and my guidance counselor said that she has to wait till I finish/get the scores for the course to put it on my schedule.
But the thing is, my counselor is not very flexible and I had a very hard time getting her to allow me to take the other 3 AP course that I want to take. See, I really REALLY want to be a doctor, so what she said is that I "should pick my spots" and just take regular honors English and History even though all my teachers strongly recommended that I take AP (I have the highest grade in my grade for history). Instead, she said that I should just focus on science courses. I agree with her, but I think that AP English and History is kind of a given for college level preparation. Anyhow, so now I'm worried that even if she places my in AP Physics after my summer course, it won't fit into my schedule, so should I just take another AP instead for now that I don't have to wait for? I was thinking about AP Econ or Stat or Gov, just because I heard that those were easy courses. But I don't want to have colleges thinking that I'm ore humanitarian based.

So in all, do you guys think that its' worth it to wait for the AP Physics class or should I fill it in for now with another AP so that scheduling wise I am guaranteed 4 AP Classes? Also, do you think that colleges will think that I'm too humanitarian based if I take the other AP that I listed above?

(ps. I'm taking AP Chem this year)

I think it’s better to be well rounded than ALL science, and taking ap bio and physics along with APUSH and apenglish is better than taking the sciences alone.

You’re schedule looks science-oriented enough, seeing how you’ll have done 2 science APs and a science research class. Just do AP Stat, since that’s most connected to your interests out of the “alternative” APs.

don’t listen to your counselor: take english and history AP. i think it will look bad to colleges if you take only science AP’s, they want to see that you have a variety of interests. Plus, ur at the top of your english and history classes; don’t throw that away by taking classes in those subjects too easy for you. colleges will never look down on your science level just because you took a lot of AP “humanities” classes.
i think you should take ap physics if you can next year. if not, i recommend stat. it’s easy, but surprisingly useful.
