Hello all, I am graduate student taking online course in Health Care Informatics from Grand Canyon University, and I purchased a membership at coursehero.com to assist me with some of my work.
THIS WAS A MISTAKE, because this scam website does nothing but steal your money, and then leave you stuck when you try to get a question answered…
I paid $30 to have a question answered for me that I NEEDED help with, and the “tutor” provided an incomplete answer at 5:30pm, and I informed him of this, but he refused to respond, and just marked the question as answered. The deadline set for the question was 11pm, so I waited until 11:30 and checked back, but no responses still.
By that time there was NO way to contact anyone about my question, and I was now screwed because of these criminals, and HAD to do it on my own now.
STAY AWAY FROM COURSEHERO.COM unless you want your money stolen from you!!
For the record, I cancelled my membership with this online scam website, and am completing this assignment on my own now with very limited time to do so because of these frauds!!

However, why exactly did you post this? Were you hoping for someone to rail about Course Hero with you? I don’t see this as something that should necessarily be on CC.

I know nothing of coursehero, but one experience with one tutor is not evidence that an entire company is a scam. Also, why not post your question and the tutor’s response so that people can read for themselves how “incomplete” the response was.
It seems like a very legitimate website, maybe the tutor took your money but the site itself is fine.
