Courses for Pre-Med Student?

Hello everybody! :) I just had a question that I've been pondering on all weekend..... What courses does a typical pre-med student take at Cal during their first year? I'm first-generation,so I'm completely clueless about the rigor of different classes and how I should divide up my schedule to make my life less harder during my first year.
Questions:
*What math should I take? Is Math1A and Math2A less rigorous compared to Math16A and Math16B? What type of maths do most medical schools prefer?
*Also, what chemistry series should I take? I heard beyond Chem1A, everything is extremely hard. :/ . So, should I take organic chem at a community?
*Also, physics! When do I start taking physics? Is it the first year or the second year?
*And psychology classes! Since I'm probably taking the newer version of the MCAT. Do, I have to take all those psychology, anthropology, MCB classes listed on the pre-med career site for UC Berkeley? That is a lot! XP
* Moreover, do I have to take a certain math to take a stat class at UC Berkeley?

So, many questions! And if possible, how is the Public Health major at UC Berkeley and also the EOP program? Sorry, for asking so many questions, but I'm just so confused :S

Thanks! :)

Here’s a good resource: https://career.berkeley.edu/Medical/PrepPrereq.stm

First semester pre-meds typically take Chem 1A/1AL, math1A (or 16A depending on your major) and then whatever non-pre-req classes you want to take.
There is no math2A (as far as I know), it’s math1a and 1b, and these are more difficult than the 16 series, but your major may require the 1 series. And, intro to Stats doesn’t have a pre-req.

You absolutely should not take a med school pre-req at a community college especially if you’re already enrolled in a 4 year. Many med schools require students who did 2 years at a cc to take upper div courses in the subjects they took at the cc, so you’ll just have to do ochem here.

You start taking physics typically at 2nd semester sophomore year (again this is up to you, it’s just when many students do it).
I’m unfamiliar with what the new psych stuff will be like on the mcat, but you probably won’t have to take ALL those classes.
It’s a bit early to feel confused, everything will be cleared up when you go to orientation!
