Courses for Spring of Senior Year

I'm applying to graduate schools in math (none are really top-ranked, but they're still good schools). I have a solid application so far, including a good GPA, GRE scores, and LORs.

As of yesterday, I've now completed the math major and all general education requirements. I only need 10 credit hours to graduate, and it doesn't matter where those come from. However, do you think it matters to graduate admissions committees what I take in the Spring? I'd like to take more math courses, but does it matter if I take 12 vs. 15 hours? The application will include my grades for the Fall, but obviously none from this coming semester.

Thanks for your input!

I doubt that difference will matter. Just take what you want to and enjoy your last semester man!

Take a decent course load. Take a couple math classes, and then pursue another interest. If you like history, poli sci, anything like that-- go for it. As long as you remain a full time student and don’t just coast away your last semester with absurdly easy courses you will be absolutely fine. (12 credits is fine as it is still full time, trust me, once you get to graduate school you will be missing your free time, so you may as well enjoy it while you can).
