courses required for finance concentration..

Hey guys,

I'm will be majoring in a science but is interested in possibly dual-majoring or at least taking the courses required of the finance major. I've been to the Penn website but I'm not certain if I have it correct idea

Here's my impression of the course requirements for finance

ECON 10 [or ECON 001, ECON 002], MATH 104, ACCT 101 and STAT 101, STAT 102, FNCE 100, FNCE 101, ECON 102, FNCE 203, FNCE 205-209, FNCE 219-220, FNCE 230, 235, 239, 250,251, 351-359

1) Now, what classes should I be taking each year?
2) Will this be feasible if I major in Ev. Science??--I might choose to minor if I find that I find Finance preferable.

THanks all!
Any advice on freshman course selection(number and which courses) is greatly appreciated!!!

The only way for you to major or minor in finance at Penn is to be in Wharton. You can, however, be in CAS and liberally take finance courses, though they will not amount to a “major”. If you wish to double major in a science and finance, you’d have to apply to the Vagelos dual-degree program.
