<p>YES, a thousand times...
remember I went to RSI too, and I found that my perception of MIT totally changed between RSI and going to CPW. Seeing the institute when its empty in the summer is nothing like seeing it alive and buzzing during CPW. The basic things you already know from RSI will give you more time to explore the real MIT. </p>
<p>Also....letting other prefrosh check their email off your athena account is fun too...=P</p>

<p>Good point. I feel a little stupid, but I guess that's what you get for living in a city all your life.</p>
<p>As for the hotels, when I visited MIT and Harvard last summer, me and my mom booked el-cheapo hotel tickets on Hotwire. We stayed at two different hotels, both right across the river from Boston (about 5 minutes away from MIT and Harvard) and I can tell you both hotels were amazingly nice.</p>
<p>So, really, if those MIT deals aren't hot enough for ya go Hotwire. They are cheap and good.</p>
<p>Luckily for me though, I got on the fly-in list!</p>
