CR (boy who was lost, mars, japanese girl with art)

Oh yeah. I think I chose that - pounced on.

The shorter words tend to be right, don't you think?

The shorter ones tend to be right for the first half of the questions. Towards the end of the sentence completions - pick the funky words and you're bound to choose the right answer.

There were a series of questions about the Japanese girl which seemed to all be the most conservative answer. Can't remember exactly but they were all of the form "which of these does the passage state"

wait jim was the answer a? the answer had conducive in the answer. thats all i remember

Jim, we talked about some of the passages on this test in the thread about Dec. Official Writing. We talked about the comedian and the japanese art passages.

mars passage

judy1688: I remember putting A. The other tempting one was E: there isn't a variety of minerals

yes!!! wow so reading is looking good for me right now

messed up on math this time though do u guys remember the question about rotation a line 210 degrees, was the answer A?

Me too! And CR is by far my worst section of them all!

For that one I chose the graph with the line in basically the same position, except it was 30 degrees away from the y-axis. I don't remember the numbering.

hmm really? well, i got maybe 2 wrong so far in CR and 2 wrong in math right now, but o well i got 770 in CR and 800 in math last time

Judy, if I remember correctly it was 210 CCW so it would appear to remain in the same quadrant, just the 30 becomes 60 (slope increases)
EDIT: yes, schitz, you beat me to it

What about the question of what the mother thought of the lost kid?

yea counting counterclockwise right?

I remember one of the grid ins was a year question. I got 2017, I think.

And then another grid in has a weird fraction. I don't remember the question, but it involved 10, and it filled up all 4 boxes... (I hope you can decipher this!)

2017 is right.

schitz: 21/2? (10.5)?

2017 for the marathon time record? sry dont understand the second one

yea 10.5 was one of the answers

i guess it was 10.5 then!
