Just so you know that I've checked the Consolidated list of CR Section,

So I have problems in:

10 pg 677 (It's a reading passage so I can't type the whole thing out)

Question: Mulcahy most likely regards the choice of the word "unscramble" (line 31)as...
I choose A because it sounds right but the answer is C. Why?

for # 10 pg 677 the answer is C because after the author mentions “unscramble” in line 32 he also mentions “twenty thousand eggs” in line 32. obviously this is a play in words because the unscramble here does not literally reference to eggs- its used playfully.

for #15 the answer is D because in lines 57-58 the author mentions “…even in the fieriest opposition the dream of final agreement and concord”…thus one who is expected to hold the individual distinct from the deed must be in a disagreement in concord (someone who disagrees without attacking him) i don’t know how to explain this fully but reread this section.

11 is E because in lines 34-35 it says his smile elicited pity mingled with contempt and dry amusement; choice E is the only one that makes sense because although he is disappointed…there is no sly criticism, he smiles with contempt or dislike…therefore amused scorn makes sense. Pity~sympathy and therefore choice E makes the best answer.
