I am not a very great person when dealing with the critical reading section of any test whether PSAT or SAT, and that is why I am wondering how I can improve on that other than know vocabulary. I have a lot of problems with interpretting theme and tone and what the author may be implying by a certain subject, or like * what idea will the author support* type of questions?
Will reading help? I really enjoy reading , and am planning to read plenty over the summer, but I believe not being a native speaker has a little bit to do with it, although I am not saying that that is my excuse.

i have a really really low reading, my counselor said just to read and you will conquer the SAT CR, but don't bother studying the CR in the Prep Books

yeah, reading extensively is the best way to learn how to read faster and gain better comprehension. i got an 800 with no prep but i've read constantly since i was in second grade.
