Crap! Could my teacher have ruined it for me?

Today, one of the teachers who wrote one of my recs. gave me back the original of the Common Application Teacher Rec. form, a photocopy of the same form, and a copy of the letter he sent. It was a very nice letter and everything, but I'm concerned for a different reason. Apparantly he filled out the Common App. form, signed it, THEN made copies of it and mailed the copy instead of making copies, then signing each copy. Will it look bad that the forms aren't hand signed? I'm afraid adcoms. will think that I tampered with the form and then made copies or something. I know I am probably worried for nothing, but I don't want to appear dishonest, because I'm not. Oh, by the way... he signed each copy of the letter he attached, so at least that signature is not just a copy. I dunno... am I freaking out over nothing here? Thanks.

I just have one more comment to add. I can probably ask him to fill out the form once more so that I can make copies and have him sign each one for the rest of the schools I am going to apply to, but I am more concerned about my EA application (deadline today). Obviously my EA school is my top choice, and of course that is the letter that was already sent.

Your post is kind of confusing, but as long as he signed each copy of the rec, you should be ok.

Since he signed the letter, I'm sure it's perfectly fine. If they have any reason to doubt it, I'm sure they would call and confirm with him/your school/etc.

don't worry, they will call if they have doubts.

...and find out that he indeed signed it on his own. of course, unless they decided to assume you lied...

of all things to worry about...
