Also my sister went to st johns for toxicology and graduated successfully with a 4.0 GPA and is now in her searching years in Erie (finished pharmacy). She is my mentor and the essays will probably include this.

@falium I just found the charts for Ernesto Mario school of pharmacy and I see what you are talking about
I am also considering Buffalo, MCPHS, URI and Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. Thank you all for your input

if you want to go to path of pharmacy you should really take the chem sat. Rutgers and northeastern is a reach but st. johns i would say is a match be sure you want to do it for 6 years because credits from many of your classes will not be accepted by other schools when transering.

@ridge4123 Thanks for your input. I will be applying early action to every school and most deadlines are November 1st so I will not be taking the sat again or any sat 2s :(.

You need to provide more details on why you are a good match for pharmacy. The ECs don’t really show a passion for pharmacy, they are a mish-mosh. Do you have a clear and convincing story that can be conveyed in the application?

I didn’t really know that I wanted to be a pharmacist my whole life. As soon as i saw my sister persuing the path of pharmacy i asked what the occupation involved and immediately saw myself 10 years from now working in medicine. I chose to follow the path of my sister as she has been my mentor throughout my entire life. I wanted something in the medical field that had a balance and would see more involvement in patients in the next few years. I want to be apart of this and also gain a vast knowledge and understanding of the body and the effects that drugs have on the body. I have been in the hospital several times after breaking bones and injuries and it was never the surgeons or doctors that fascinated me. It was always the drugs. I was fascinated by how such a tiny littl
e pill can prevent so much pain and cure the human body. One day I had a dream I was a pharmacist and as soon as I woke up I realized what career I want to pursue in life; my dream. @sgopal2
