Created Biology Club: What activities to do?

Hi, i made a biology club at school, with my friend.
We both have took Biology I, Biology II (but not ap :()
at school, and took SAT II biology so we have some
knowledge abuot Bio. (we're juniors)

Here's the question: What can we do in the club?
We can tutor some Biology I students (freshmen)
if they need help, but we don't want teaching
to be the main focus of the club.
Something fun, that will grab members' attention.
something not boring.

any ideas?

Go to the beach and "examine marine life and coastal environments". aka have fun

something more realistic....something we can do in a class

You can tutor under-classmen. You guys can possibly hold fund raisers to fund a trip like arklogic mentioned. You guys can petition for an AP Bio, help students prepare for the Bio SAT II. You guys can have like... "Bio Jeopardy," or maybe participate in a local quiz competition.

I started a Biological Research Club...what we basically do is publish a newspaper discussing current biological research. I guess you could do something like that.

i think it would be cool to like acctually learn college bio (if possible) but probably not lol so if I were you I would find like little lab things online and do them in your club. Each time getting a little harder.....and for a field trip go to a nearby zoo and schedule a tour....get them to explain to you...bio things

Dissect stuff.

and guest speakers

The biology club at my school does little excursions (to the zoo, etc), watches videos and has guest speakers. They do experiments and dissections too.

Go to your local science center. I know at my school, the kids in the AP bio class are taking a trip to the science center where the Body Worlds 3 is currently in exhibition.

join the USABO

I guess teaching would be good, and
watch videos sometimes,
or publish a newspaper too.
