Creative lesson to teach derivatives?

My teacher wants our calculus class to teach a calculus topic in a creative way. Does anyone have any ideas to do that? It can be through a story or game. Does anyone have any ideas? It basically has to be fun and engaging

Does Jeopardy count as creative!!! You could do that…my math teacher makes up mini songs to help is remember important info…she does it in the tune of children’s songs, but you could change it up and take a popular song and use that for your project… By the way, do you go to a school in VA?

My teacher had this awesome way to remember how to subtract derivatives XD

“Ho di hi - hi di ho all divided by ho squared.”
“Hoes” are always on the corner and always on the bottom…

Needless to say, my entire class burst into laughter.

I’m in NJ.

@ Cant Concentrate

haha I don’t get that song haha.

Oh. Do you know if you’re allowed to do Jeopardy?

im not sure. Because it has to actually teach you how to do derivatives

Low-de-high minus high-de-low, all over low-low for quotient rule.

Hmmm…you could write a catchy song. You could also write a story. Make the formulas characters…
