<p>I was looking at the essay archetypes and I realized I have absolutely no examples I can use for creativity. Most of the time my examples are from literature and these don't really apply here. Could someone give me universal examples I can use with creativity topics, OR these two specific questions? </p>

<p>ALSO. How bad is making examples up? Like if I am completely stuck during the test, how bad would it be to just make something up like a work of literature, names, etc</p>
<p>The notion of making up examples is occasionally advocated on this forum. My opinion is that it is unnecessary and intellectually unethical.</p>
<p>Literature is not the only source of examples. For “creativity” history provides many examples. Science and technology provide many more.</p>
<p>History: What about the foundation of the United States. Is the Constitution an example of a creative and practical foundation for a democracy. Is the Louisiana Purchase a bold beginning to western expansion? Is the Emancipation Proclamation an example of the basis for a slave-free nation. In the modern area, is national health care an example of progressive policy. I’m sure you’ll come up with a long list of examples. Commit some to memory.</p>
<p>In science: Heliocentric solar system (Greeks, Kepler, Galileo and Newton); Natural selection (Darwin); Immunization against disease – i.e Salk; DNA – Crick and Watson; Global Warming; Relativity; The battle against Aids, and cancer. </p>
<p>In technology: Numerous examples.</p>
