I have 43 credit hours form high school which puts me as a Sophomore at my college. Does that mean that I will graduate earlier than my peers? Currently I have a 2.6 gpa due to several reasons and was wondering how the 43 credits factors in to the whole scheme of things from here on out.

Well, it can certainly help you graduate early but it will no means ensure that you do. If you know exactly what you want to do, and make it a goal to graduate early by only taking classes for your major or doubling up on classes or whatever, you might be able to do it. You need a certain number of credit hours to graduate so your 43 credits will likely count towards that, so you can meet the minimum for that in three years instead of four. However, you still need to fulfill all your gen eds and major requirements and school requirements. You might not be able to do that in four years especially if you’re not actively working towards it. So to sum that up, the 43 credits probably puts the option on the table, but it doesn’t automatically mean anything.
