This may sound stupid, but I have been out of school for about 8 years now, and Im currently planning on getting back, but what I can't clarify is, how many credits is needed to graduate in a 4 year Bachelors Degree program?

Also, it's two semesters to a College year, correct? as well, the max amount of credit hours in a semester is 16, witch would make you a full time student, correct?

Im posting this here since I am an Intel, and can't find a section for these type of questions.

hey andreas,
i don't know about the credits but about the two semesters thing, it can vary at some schools. Like at some schools ( i cant remember them), they have trimesters or something (3 semesters).
Also, I'm not sure about the credits bit but I think the amount of credits you need, varies also by collges.. (im not sure about this part)

@ elodie, well, when I got out of High School I didn't really know in which direction I wanted to go to, so I worked with my father in his business, 8 years later I finally found the field that I REALLY want to get into, wish I thought about it when I got out of high school. Ah well, live and learn..

Thanks NoFX, I have read that it varies from school to school as well, but I've also heard 128 credit hours was the industry standard, then again I could be wrong,
