<p>Does anyone know the criteria for joining the men's crew or cross-country teams? Can anyone try out? Are there a lot of cuts?</p>

<p>I’m pretty sure that athletics has a small open house during the day, where you come drop by and meet coaches.</p>
<p>My impression is it’s pretty easy to get on the crew team with little to no prior experience. This wasn’t really the case for the cross country team, but the team is getting very competitive now. Unfortunately the coaching staff has become more reluctant to take walk ons (in part due to an increase in recruits), so you need some pretty good times to get on.</p>
