Criminal Justice in NJ/NY/PA area

Im a student at William Paterson University. My current major is Communications with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism. Im planning on changing my major to Criminal Justice though, and making COMM my minor. Thing is, WILLY P, only has a SOCIOLOGY program (which I hear is really good), not a Criminal Justice program.

Im thinking about possibly transferring next year to a school that has a good Criminal Justice program. Im looking into John Jay in NY (in which i would have to commute) and Temple University in Philly. John Jay is really good in that field but it's a straight up commuter school whereas Temple offers a lot more variety and its more of a campus feel. But i havent heard too much about Temple's UNDERGRAD program as much as their GRAD Criminal Justice program. The GRADUATE program is all the buzz but I really havent heard much about their UNDERGRAD CRIMINAL JUSTICE program. Does anyone know anything about the programs in these 2 schools?

Any other good Criminal Justice schools in the area? People have told me that majoring in Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice here at William Paterson would be practically the same as majoring in Criminal Justice at any other school...but im not sure about that.

Thanks in advance.

temple is good. you should also check out rowan in nj.

University of Delaware has a sociology department which offer a criminal justice MAJOR. check it out.
