Criminal justice major

I really want to work at an agency similar to the CIA. The CIA itself, the FBI, or something like a Navy intelligence officer (preferably at the federal and not state level). I have nothing wrong with police, but I want to do something more than just patrolling traffic. I want to have a fast paced job and I want to feel like I'm making a difference. So I was thinking of majoring in criminal justice and minoring in counter terrorism and one of the critical languages (either Arabic or Russian). I know that there are probably some better majors like engineering and computers but I know I wouldn't be happy taking those classes. Criminal justice and antiterrorism is something I'm actually interested in.

But what I want to know is if I am setting myself up to get a job similar to the ones I've described or is the curriculum I just described completely worthless? Thank you

I was in your shoes and I decided id have a better chance in majoring in political science, also im going to try and learn a middle eastern language. For fbi id go with CJ and cia id go polisci. Good luck!
