<p>I finishd the SAT I got 2220..Pretty happy but not so much with my critical reading score..i only got a 690..and the weird thing is im pretty good at english like its a strong subject for me...</p>
<p>so any ideas on how to help and improve my readin score for my next attempt? the passages seem more deceivin and tricky than they are...i finishd all passages early in my SAT attempt and still managed to only get 690</p>

<p>Have you done all of the CR in the Blue Book? And have you done all of the verbal sections (minus analogies) in the Red Book?</p>
<p>yes i've done all of that..somehow my critical readin score never relly crosses a 700..</p>
<p>Well, i've been working on getting my pt scores on CR higher, and I finally succeeded in getting 750ish on my last one (previously i'd been in the mid 600s) and I just read and read and read. Read ANYthing and EVERYthing you can. And don't just read, ask questions to yourself as you read (what is the author saying, what is the purpose of the passage, what is the tone of the passage, is it happy, sad, or indifferent?) Just read newspapers like the new york times, novels, and anything else you can get your hands on. You'll get there, don't worry!</p>
