Critical Reading December 2008 Test Version 2: Korean Mother, Nature, etc.

Since this is getting way too confusing, here's a separate test for those of us who had the other CR sections.

This includes-
Long:
-korean mother's worn hands
-nature/gardening
-navigation/finding longitude
-privacy/technology

Short:
-effect of genes
-folklore one (the one w/ native american note in parentheses)

one SC was Secure

--about the one with the financial troubles or something

I think I also remember constituents, reconcilliaton..

Yes, another one was "constituency," "excoriate," "spendthrift," "anecdotal."

Iranian passage is mos def experimental.

i dont think spendthrift was an answer

For the navigation one, what did you get for the last question. The one that was like "The guy who wrote this believes that people have lost what?"

I put that they lost "respect for how hard it was to create navigational devices"

So what was experimental? Was it Section 4 I hope?

constituency yeah

I didn't get spendthrift as an answer.
And I believe that that was the navigation answer, hipster. There was only one referring to the actual navigation devices, which is what the passage was about

The question for "spendthrift" was about a girl who "squandered her money."

WHOA WHOA??/

I didnt even have those questions on my test.

The other answers for that question was "humbug," and "gourmand."

Oh also, another answer for a different question was "proliferation"

^ i think you had an experimental section.

does anyone remember the nature questions those were so hard

"So what was experimental? Was it Section 4 I hope?"

I think so. Section 4 was my "Iranian" passage, which I believe has to be experimental since I have all the passages listed above but no-one else has the Iranian passage.

I'm hoping section 4 was experimental as well- that one was soo hard.

"^ i think you had an experimental section."

Oh yeah, I did. Oops. I guess that question was part of the experimental one then. No worries.

^did you get a math question about the number of sticks needed to make triangles?

Proliferation was an answer.

yea that was 150 right?

3 to make 1, want to make 50

Yea, I got 101. It was 3 to make the first one and then 2 to make everything after.
