<p>Has anybody received an orientation package in the mail for Crown?</p>

How about orientation packets from other colleges?</p>
<p>Well I received mine from College 9. And a follow up letter/questionnaire recently.</p>
<p>So, a letter received from Crown today claims that an orientation package should have been received by now. I haven’t seen one. Is this claim about the package just BS leftover in a recycled letter, or has anyone from Crown gotten an orientation package in the mail?</p>
<p>Got the same letter (had to talk about registering for classes and the summer assignment) but nothing else about orientation, etc.</p>
<p>There were two letters, and a flyer about which core class to take depending on ELWR placement. One of the letters, in the fifth paragraph, says:</p>
<p>“Now for fall quarter: By now you should have received a brochure with information about attending the advising workshops at one of UCSC’s Summer Orientatioin Programs.”</p>
<p>Is that the letter you got, and did you actually get a brochure before?</p>
<p>I got both a packet and a letter. The packet came before the letter. :s</p>

<p>No packet for my son, just the one envelope with the two letters and flyer. Wonder how he will track that one down.</p>

<p>My son sent an email to the advisor email (don’t know exactly which address).
It’s been at least two weeks, no reply.
Hopefully, what’s on-line will be good enough to prep for the orientation.</p>
