I’m interested in CS (I’ve taken a bunch of classes at my school), but I don’t want to only concentrate on CS classes in college. I’m also interested in business and finance and that sort of thing, but don’t see myself doing something like pure Wharton. I want to keep my options open going into college so I can do software engineering, or head towards a wall st path. What schools would be best for this. (note I have double legacy at Penn, so M&T maybe?) I thought I was set on U of C and MIT EA, but not so sure anymore. Thanks!
The IBE program at Lehigh would also allow you to combine CS and business.
At Penn, M & T is great, but you don’t need a business major to get to Wall Street from Penn. You could accomplish the same thing by being good at a CS major or a NETS major.
You’ll need to apply ED for that legacy bump at Penn. Any reason that your having second thoughts about MIT and UChicago?
Perhaps the following

I spent a few years working on Wall Street. General business or economics knowledge isn’t what companies there are looking for. Wall Street loves people who can combine finance with computer and math skills.
@simba “Wall Street loves people who can combine finance with computer and math skills.”
I would just add statistics to that. A combination of computer science, math and statistics allows you to do a lot.
Northeastern has both a CS / Business degree and a CS / Economics degree. If you’re looking at Penn and MIT, it will likely be a good match school for you.

UW-Madison also has a good CS/Business combined program. Seconding Lehigh.
I was unsure over MIT and Uchicago EA because I want sure if it was the best way to use my early application. My best shot at a top school is ED Penn, but I’m gonna bet on my ability to get into other top schools. I’m pretty set on mit Chicago early now
You probably need to ED at UChicago or Penn and EA to MIT, albeit MIT EA is no real advantage.
I’m EA to both UChicago and MIT, because I’m not sure what my number one choice is yet.
