I’m going to be a freshman next year and my major is CS and interactive media, however I am also looking at cs and digital art. I’m not sure what to choose. I am interested in UX but I also might want to get into computer graphics or augmented reality development.
Digital art will focus more on the artistic side versus the technical and UX. I think interactive media would be your better bet, and then add in art electives of your choice to hone your artistic eye. Graphics is a pure CS subject normally unless you are referring to it differently. Augmented reality will also be very much CS with a high UX focus, being such uncharted territory. I think CS and IM makes much more sense.
