CS at Berkeley or Northwestern?

I was admitted to UC Berkeley for CS in the College of Letters of Science (not the engineering school) and admitted to McCormick at Northwestern. It’d be awesome if anyone had any input to help me choose! I know answers may be a little bias because this is the Berkeley thread, but I plan on posing the same question in the NU thread. Thanks!

I know Berkeley is known as a world class institution for CS (would it matter that I’d get a BA rather than a BS?). I was also selected to be a Murphy Scholar at NU.

A quick question regarding UC Berkeley CS in College of Letters and Science.
Do you need to have a GPA of 3.0 in the prerequisites to guarantee your spot in the major?

Yes, you need a 3.0 GPA in the prerequisites:

To the OP: are the costs significantly different, and does the difference matter (i.e. would the more expensive school require large debt or otherwise be financially painful)?

The cost would be about the same. I’m a CA resident but the FA from NU makes up for it.

Berkeley L&S don’t admit directly to CS. Not sure if this matters to OP.
