CS, business in the long-run, loves foreign languages

Hi, I'm a CS major and want to do business in the long-run.

Aside from that, I really love learning foreign languages. I want to do minors/language certificates in foreign languages, but I don't know if it's gonna be better for me than, say, double majoring in Econ or something similar. My parents are against me in learning foreign languages because they say it's useless and encourage me to get at least a minor in Econ.

I need some advice on how I should choose my classes, knowing that I will do business in the long run.

Your suggestions are appreciated!

Foreign languages may be of use if you do business with people in foreign countries speaking those languages, or in immigrant communities where some do not yet have good English skills.

But many common foreign languages are offered in community colleges, so it may be more worthwhile to use the schedule space in university to learn junior / senior level economics or other subjects and take language courses at community colleges when convenient.
