The CS major can be in CAS or CoE. Which college is easy to enroll? Can I apply to both colleges at the same time?

Engineering doesn't have as many annoying requirements as CAS...
As for ease of acceptance, it depends on the person. I don't think you can apply to multiple colleges until the year after next or even later (though it may start this year, I don't remember).

Doesn't engineering require more difficult requirements than CAS?

I applied (and got in ED) to CAS for CS partially because I was under the impression that CAS had less restrictive requirements. I know there are distribution requirements, but you aren't required to take all the chem and physics classes and such that engineers need. I think there are many ways to fulfill the distribution requirements by taking classes that interest you, like there's probably a writing seminar focused on technology or something. It also helps that I can probably place out of the language requirement. On the application I wrote that the reason I chose CAS is that it would allow me the freedom to take that random class on mushroom diseases in the Ag school if I ever wanted to. I hope I'm not wrong on this.

Anyway, in response to your question about which is easier to get in to, I think that statistically Engineering has a higher acceptance rate, but their average SAT scores and such are also higher.

CAS has more requirements, but they aren't as rigid. In CAS, you need to take more liberal arts stuff in addition to the CS material whereas in Engineering, fewer class are unrelated to CS.

Two of my best friends here are comp sci: one in CAS and one in Engineering. If you do it in Engineering, you'll have a lot more work. CAS may have more requirements, but they're pretty easy requirements to fulfill.
