<p>I am attempting to complete the CSS Profile. In many places, it wants us to "estimate" 2009 income, taxes paid, etc., by referring to the 2008 income taxes. However, for various reasons, we made less than half in 2009 than what we did in 2008. I do, however, have the last paychecks of 2009 that have our earnings for the year, which should be identical or close to what comes out on the W2. Is it ok to just use those numbers?</p>
<p>Yes. You should submit the most accurate estimates you can. You won’t be the only person who made far less in 2009.</p>
