This is probably a dumb question. I filled out a CSS Profile for an Early Action school in November - I filled out the 2010/2011 Profile.

Now I would like to fill out the 2011/2012 Profile; however, it doesn't look like I have that option. When I click on the 2011/2012 Profile button, it says that I've already submitted in November, and would I like to submit to additional schools?

How do I update the 2011/2012 Profile, now that I have 2010 tax information, and send to the regular decision schools?

My D applied EA to one university and I submitted the PROFILE in November, also. I realized that I had made some mistakes/needed to make corrections so I called the school to discuss this and was told to email the FAO all the changes/corrections. So I wrote up a complete accounting of all the lines with codes from the PROFILE and added the new numbers. FAO said he would change our PROFILE in his office.

Then I went back and made those changes in the PROFILE and send them to the bunch of schools D had applied RD. I don’t remember exactly what I did here, but I know that when you send to new schools you can make changes. Hope that helps.

Filling out the 2010-11 Profile for your EA school was incorrect. Your child will be ATTENDING during the 2011-12 school year, so that is what you should be filling out regardless of when you apply/are accepted.

I’d call up the Profile and ask how you can correct this error and have them get their program to let you submit for the 2011-12 school year.

usm is correct, once you send the Profile, you can make changes and then send it to other schools. But, once you send a version to a school, you cannot change it online. You need to call each college and ask them how to make corrections, many will have you send a hardcopy of your Profile with the changes marked.
