I was hoping I could find help now about my problem because I cannot contact collegeboard until Monday.

I did a program that required me to complete really early EA/ED dates...as in, November 1. They required me to complete my CSS Profile by that date so for 2011 income boxes, we put our 2010 amounts. We finished our tax returns recently and did FAFSA and I tried to get into the CSS Profile to change the amounts in 2011 because there was a small (~$500 difference) in income between 2010 and 2011. Although the CSS site says you can make updates for income online, I cannot find the option to do so.

I roamed other threads and from what I understand you have to contact the colleges directly (the ones you already sent them to) but I also have some RD colleges with Feb 1 deadlines for CSS. Can I change the income amounts for any of my future colleges? If so, how?

For schools you have not applied to, you can edit your exisiting numbers and submit. For schools you have already applied to, you cannot edit. You will print off your exisitng form, cross through and write new numbers and fax to your school’s FA department… however each school might have a different procedure, but this should be adequate.

Heree are the instructions copied from the CSS website:

Updating Your Information

If you submit your application with estimated tax information, once you’ve completed your tax returns you should send updated information directly to the student’s colleges and programs that have already received the PROFILE Application data.

If you add colleges as recipients of your application data you may make updates to your information as part of the Add College or Program Request (ACR) process. Your updated data will only be reported to the added colleges or programs.
