<p>ok so every school has a different deadline. when i sent in my early app, i sent the profile to everyone of my colleges. Did they expect to wait for new info (tax forms) and send in the latest info in the profile? Is this a huge mistake?</p>
<p>You didn't make a mistake. BUT you will have to amend the information to reflect the info on your 2008 tax returns and send to the colleges. You should call each school to find out their procedure for doing so...and if there is any deadline you should adhere to.</p>
<p>When we did this three years ago, we were told to print out the Profile, hand write the changes in, and mail to the colleges. BUT I honestly do not know if this is the procedure for all colleges.</p>
<p>It is BEYOND stupid that you can't modify the profile like you do a Fafsa.</p>
<p>I was relieved when my son got rejected by the profile schools (one of which would not accept a birth certificate with NO father listed as proof we had no contact with S's dad)</p>

<p>Estimate to meet the deadline, and correct it later.</p>
