I know that if you send your ACT/SAT score report to one UC campus, they will share it with all UC campuses that you apply to.
Is it the same at the CSU’s as well? I can’t find any clear information on it - online it talks about using a system wide mentor code on collegeboard, but also says you need to ensure all campuses to which you apply receive the scores?
I just sent my daughter’s scores off to Cal Poly SLO for example, but I’m not sure if I need to send them individually to each other state campus (I only read about the system wide mentor code afterwards!).
Anyone know how the process works?
Thanks
I continued searching and found this quote on the CSU’s admissions page:
ACT and SAT scores are automatically sent. If you’re an incoming freshman who has taken the ACT or SAT, your test results will be distributed to all CSU campuses to which you’ve applied – so there’s no need for you to send the scores to each school’s admissions office.
I can’t tell if this means I just wasted $12 or not, but hey ho!
If you list a CSU campus as an ACT score report recipient, your scores will automatically be sent to all campuses to which you submit an application.
If you list a CSU campus(es) as an SAT score report recipient, your scores will automatically be sent to all campuses to which you’ve applied. You can also use the CSU systemwide institution code (3594) on Collegboard.com to ensure that all CSU campuses to which you apply receive your scores.
You may have wasted $12, but better safe than sorry.
