<p>I’m an out-of-state transfer with a 3.78 GPA. Honors student, Phi Theta Kappa, etc.</p>
<p>I applied for Communications department, concentration in Journalism. I was accepted last year with distinction.</p>
<p>However, they didn’t verify my transcripts until recently. And they have still yet to give me a detailed evaluation of my transfer credits.</p>
<p>Damn yup you will have a good chance… I’m starting to get impatient :0 lol</p>

<p>@xjoex93: No you should definitely NOT be worried because my friend finally heard from them LAST Friday 4/5 and he was accepted that day & they are still accepting… csuf told me they are trying to notify everyone by May 1st so lets hope they try and keep their word! If not they have till the beginning of school… So no worries just be patient because I barely heard 3/27 from them and was accepted =]</p>
<p>@meowme474: I applied with a 3.34 for sociology, but it dropped to a 3.2 I believe they look at what you apply with though… so far I have heard people with a 3.2 getting accepted out of the area depending on the major… and they were out of the area transfer also. I had to wait 6-8 weeks after my application was completely processed to hear from them. (which took 8 weeks).</p>

<p>what i heard is that if you are already admitted to one cal state school, it is kinda hard to transfer from one cal state to another since people who are not admitted will be considered first, but one of my friend had done it back it 2012 tho. he tranfered out fullerton to cal poly san luis obispo. good luck. </p>
<p>@xjoex93 just keep all your options open, decision will be throughout april. it is all depends on your GPA you wrote on the application. but i agree with @britt, worrying doesnt help you in ANY WAY.</p>
<p>I am a Cali resident and transferring form a community college as a child development major and I still haven’t heard as well. My application is still pending as well and when I call they keep telling me its a waiting game (I literally got those exact words). I am getting nervous and literally waiting on the edge of my seat. I have been waiting years to go to fullerton and that’s only because I made life choices that made me drop out of college and now I am trying to finish and get my BA. I’ve been told that if I don’t know now, then I didn’t get it in. I turned everything in, in November and just recently I had all the financial aide paperwork on my to do list. Why would they have me turn that in if my application is still pending?</p>
<p>@marie: I totally understand where you are coming from I was playing the waiting game just like you… And that is all you can do is play the waiting game I was told they are trying to give people answers by May 1st… If not they have till June… I am curious who told you, if you haven’t heard now that you can’t get in ?? In regards to the paper work… They have everyone send them fiancial aid so if you do get accepted it will be taken care of. I am curious what if your GPA ? Because if you are out of area I believe they would want a 3.2-3.4 or higher also depending on the major and its impaction. There are a lot of ppl still waiting on their status just like my boyfriend is… :0

<p>Im so annoyed. Still no response from CSUF. I already got accepted to Cal Poly SLO and Pomona. Still waiting for UCs and CSUF but I want the responses NOW! The wait is killing me slowly :(</p>

<p>I’m coming from an Orange County community college. My counselor even told me I had priority because I am a California resident and my GPA was high. I am going into Child Development but I’m not sure if its impacted or not.</p>
