@brit i cant believe they are denying a 3.1, man, the competitiveness is heating up, im sorry to hear that.

also FYI for all of you, the transcript reviewing time is up to 12 weeks now intead of 8-10 weeks like they stated in the email. i talked to admission and record last week.

@xcoreflyup: I know, it sucks know 3 to 4 years ago he would of easily gotten in with a 3.1, but since everyone is going back to school it’s super impacted… Thanks though… Oh really 12 weeks now? Good to know because yeah I was told 8 to 10 weeks but that was back in march so thanks for informing me! :)

@randomnewguy: yup I applied super early the first day applications opened… Well on the positive side we all got in! It was my #1 choice since I was in middle school

But yeah as anyone gotten a actual amount of fiancial aid? And I don’t mean the “estimate” email they sent us because on the email it said they would send another email stating the financial aid is the actual amount now?.. Just curious… :)

Yeah, I received a separate email letting me know my actual award status. It was exactly like the estimate. Since I’m out-of-state, I’m not eligible for CalGrants or anything like that, so maybe it might take a little longer for them to determine the package for a native Californian.

The draw to CSU Fullerton, for me at least, is that I really like the campus and it’s a great fit for my major and it’s cheap even by out-of-state standards. Plus, next year I’ll be eligible for in-state tuition and CalGrants. My current institution awarded me a $10,000 transfer scholarship to soften the blow.

i havent received anything either…Im a non-local transfer student from the Bay Area. I’v had the same exact status as you for months now.Have you spoke to them? I call two weeks ago and they said decisions would be sent out by may 5th lol.

@futregrad510 go to your plan b now, everything, i mean every decision should been sent out by now. they give everyone at least two weeks to decide whether or not to accept the offer.
