i applied as a bio major at CSU long beach and apparently everyones decision came out today and mine did not. Does that mean im rejected?
Same. Mine is still under review. I don’t get it, I applied as undeclared And see people that got accepted as undeclared that have way lower stats than me. I live half an hour to csulb…
same here…status says my application is still under review and I live i the Los Angeles area
If you have no decision, do not speculate or panic. CSU’s will post admission decisions in waves, so you should expect to see at least 1-2 more decision waves in the next few weeks. Also CSU’s do not review all applications at the same time, so they will continue reviewing throughout this month and next. CSULB gives priority to local applicants (in their service area) so locals may hear first and especially with undeclared have first chance at these spots if they are not accepted to their 1st choice major.
Yes it is hard to see your friends getting decisons but hang in there and be patient. Just remember that “no decision” is better than a rejection.
Although I am a parent, I have been through the admission process many times with my own son’s, friends and family members. You will all end up somewhere good, so best of luck.
Also in the los angeles area & i applied under marine bio. No decision yet.
“‘no decision’ is better than a rejection.”
yup. No decision just means that you have heard yet. You really can’t read anything into it. A year ago at this time we were waiting on a decision (to somewhere else) that was unexpectedly slow for no apparent reason. About a month later than expected the decision showed up. It was good.
I know this is stressful, but at this point you just have to relax, keep up with your school work, and be patient.
thank you
