I still haven’t received a decision from csulb or sdsu and I’m starting to get worried. I applied and was accepted to csuf however so I have some hope. I applied to all 3 as a nursing major but my EI was too low for csuf so I changed my major to Biology. They sent me an email that let me know they switched my major to undeclared after I was rejected from nursing school, and then I changed that to a Bio major.
I already know I won’t be accepted into the other 2 nursing schools either but what I want to know is if long beach and san diego will notify me to change my major beforehand or if I’ll just be flat our rejected if I can not get into the nursing school?
SDSU has not posted any regular decisions yet only Honors college students and some OOS students. For SDSU, if you are not admitted into the Nursing program then that is the end of the line, they do not accept you into another major or Undeclared.
D applied for nursing at both schools. She’s in local service area for SDSU and has received the full-tuition scholarship and acceptance into Weber Honors. She hasn’t received any decision on whether she is admitted.
She received acceptance into pre-Nursing at CSULB mid February.
My D was excepted to SDSU in December, Still waiting for CSULB received this email in Feb
I am writing to provide an update on the status of your admission application. The good news is that you are still being considered for admission for Fall 2018 and we have everything we need to complete our review.
However I want to let you know that we will not be able to make a decision on your application until the end of March due to our highly competitive process. I understand that this is both an exciting and anxious time for you, but we ask your patience as we continue our reviews.
We promise to have a decision for you in early April, so please continue to do well in your classes and check your email regularly.
