Me too @Lostinthecrowd ! Congratulations!
@CassBeachGirl17 , Did you hear anything back from Long Beach? I wish I could help you in this case, definitely contact your local Transfer Center from CC or ask CSULB Admissions. I totally feel you, it sucks to be waitlisted. I’m also in a similar situation as well, but keep your chin up! I’ll be sending positive vibes!

I wanted to share with you guys that the second time is always a charm, because I’ve been rejected by Bob Cole Conservatory and by admissions of CSULB back when I was a senior in high school. I had a 2.88 GPA and didn’t really have a developed vocal technique like I have now. 5 years later…I’m admitted for once at CSULB. Since my parents and I needed to stay local as possible due to our jobs, and by being able to take some other music courses than having to be forced to take all Voice major courses only. It was more convenient for me to accept CSULB’s offer. It’s such an honor to know that hard work pays off. I still can’t believe I’ve been admitted to CSULB! I’ve been told that it’s very difficult to get in, especially in the BCCM of CSULB. So far, I’m waiting on UCLA and USC.
