Hi, I am currently in a bit of a predicament and I would greatly appreciate some advice, suggestions, or insight on the issue.
I am currently on the waitlist at CSU Long Beach for Spring 2016, and I was accepted to Chico State. I was accepted to the same program for both schools (Healthcare Administration - BS) and both are decent schools with their own pros and cons. Given the option, I would chose Long Beach solely due to its proximity to my family. In all other aspects, I would probably chose Chico. Both schools have their own attributes, which makes this decision even harder.
I will have a final decision from Long Beach by mid-December. I would have to register for classes at Chico by December 4th. I could, of course, register for Chico and then (if I’m accepted), register for classes at Long Beach. However, Chico is not local at all (9 hours away). If I wait around on LB’s decision, and then I’m not accepted, I would have a month to find an apartment and move to Chico. If I move to Chico in advance, and LB somehow accepts me, I will be too far in to turn back, and I will have to attend Chico.
Please note that I would be happy at both schools, but lean slightly towards Long Beach for family reasons. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
