Hey guys,
Quick question about CSU's. The CSU schools RECOMMEND that I take 3 years science and 4 years math, but Ive done 4 years of each. So can I use that extra year of science as my College Prep Elective? Because I just listed my 4th science (Marine Bio) under the biological sciences area. Will they know that this is my college prep elective?

Use http://doorways.ucop.edu to determine what courses at your high school qualify as a college-prep elective (g category in the a-g requirements). In many cases, “extra” courses in the a-f categories can be used for the g requirement, but not all qualify.

I know, but I just dont understand the whole thing about the G category as a college prep elective. Can I use my current year in Marine Biology as my college prep elective?

And It does not list MArine Biology under the College Prep dropout link.
