CSU Sacramento AP Transfer Credits.

Good morning from California College Confidential

Okay, so according to the CSUs, I can use all three of my AP scores (AP chem, APUS and APAP) for credits on general ed courses.

Transfer Admission - Sacramento State Catalog

I have a question on chemistry. According to this one, it does not specifically vouch out chem 1A, but chem 1A is included in the general education courses in B1.

General Education - Sacramento State Catalog Between General Educati

Can I still vouch it out? I know it is unwise especially since I am pursuing an undergrad in biochem, but I believe I am more than qualified in basic chemistry to be placed there. I have taken honors chemistry and AP chemistry with hours of independent research pre and especially post chem courses in high school. I am a regional finalist in the Sacramento area science Olympiad's chemistry lab and I have done some small experiments in my backyard (mainly precipitation and filtration labs) using common household chemicals such as Epsom salt and ammonia. I am fluent in chemistry.

I just want to know if I am able to pull this off? Chemistry 1B is mainly equilibrium, and some newer ones such as coordinate chemistry and bioinorganic chemistry, the latter of which I plan to do independent studying on this summer.

Thank you for your time guys! ^_^
