Hello, I’ve decided to finish my education and pursue a degree in information technology and hopefully gain more cyber security knowledge. The only college near me that offers an IT degree with focus in security is CSU San Bernadino. I don’t know too much about this school but it’s program looks promising. CSU San Marcos is nearest me and offer a degree in IS but that’s about it. Just wondering what y’all can tell me about this school and maybe the IS program. Thanks.
most of the CSUs offer in-major course selection so, you could probably replicate the curricula elsewhere. As far as SB, it is one of the lesser known, CSUs and very much a commuter campus - not unlike San Marcos. They offer solid degrees and, as with the other 21 CSUs, are well respected by employers, particularly locally.
I am not 100% sure what you mean by IT, that means so many different things these days. You may find similar programs under the header CIS - like this one in Chico
