I currently go to CSUN and want to transfer to SJSU for junior year 2nd semester. I am wondering what my chances of getting in are. I have a 3.05 GPA. I was a CS major but i switched Management Information Systems which has CS elements but is in business. SJSU website says it an impacted major requiring a 2.9 GPA. I dont know how popular San Jose State is so I wanted some opinions. I know my GPA isnt that high.

This table is probably where you got the 2.9 GPA requirement. I love the fact SJSU publishes it and wish other CSUs would follow suit. Note though it reflects last year’s applicants. When you apply, they will have a different pool so the threshold may vary (higher or lower). Your 3.05 is probably enough of a margin to get you in - but you won’t know until you get your acceptance.
Is your contingency plan to stay at Northridge?
