First off, I'd like to say I've never been to this website before and if I'm posting this in the wrong place, I apologize in advance.

CSU Fullerton is my dream school. I applied to CSUF in October but I have no clue if I've receieved the acknowledgement letter or the acceptance letter.

I do have, however, two letters. One has my CWID ID and PIN. The other has the basic information and admission requirements for First-Time Freshmen. I thought this meant I was accepted because it states that I'll be needing to take an English Placement Exam in 2009.

A friend of mine has a cousin who goes to CSUF currently. I asked her to ask her cousin about the acceptance letter and apparently, hers said "Congratulations, you've been accepted to Cal State Fullerton!" Or something along the lines of that. I'm nervous because I haven't receieved that letter.

So, the big questions are, how does the acceptance letter actually look like? When will I receieve it? Where can I check (online, perhaps) for my application process? And any other words of comfort for a nervous college-freshman-to-be.

i just got my pin and cwid 2 days ago but i applied on 11/21. i think we hear from them later this month/early january :) i hope i get in. i think its harder for kids from norcal to get accepted

I got my acceptance letter about a month ago, but I applied on the first day applications were open. Your friend is right, it just reads 'Congratulations! You've been accepted to Cal State Fullerton blah blah blah". It comes with the letter itself and a bright orange piece of cardstock about orientation. Hope that helps. Good luck!

i applied october 1st and got the letter less than a month after that; however, i checked my admissions status online several days before i got the letter.

to check your status:
log in at fullerton.edu => "New Titan Online" (top toolbar, towards the right) => Student Center => Application Status (at the bottom of the page) => View detailed information for this application

I got accepted this saturday,
the letter says congradulation you have been admitted to CSFU
which is kind of weird since I applied on Nov 25 and this letter is sent out at Dec 03, obvious they have not receive my sat nor act score, and my gpa is kind on the low side, guess I got lucky

Alright I got there acknowledgment letter but online where it says admission status, it states that they haven't made a decision yet.On the to-do list it tells me to send the official SAT report card and my transcript with my 1st semester senior grades.

I'll get accepted right? This school is kind of my back up school and it'll be sad if I don't get in.I'm really worried and frustrated right now cause all my friends got in a week after they submitted there applications.I'm worried that my math is holding me back cause the minimum requirement is 3 years of math and I only passed Geometry and Algebra II, I failed Pre-calc last year and I'm not sure if I can pass AP stats this year...I currently have a 68% in the class and finals is in a couple of days. I did mention I took Algebra I in 8th grade but i'm not sure if they count that.

I have a 3.53 GPA
490-Math
580-CR
520-Writing

My GPA and test scores are above the average accepted last year.

Im in inglewood which is around 20-30 min or so away from the school so id say im pretty close. All ive gotten so far was a letter with my ID and PIN. Im hoping to get an acceptance!

hey kinglakers, congratulation on getting accepted in csuf. i was going to ask you how to you accepted, how was ur Cumulative GPA and A-G GPA and did you take and exra curricular activities. i have applied for fall2009 and have Cumulative GPA 2.0 (will not go higher than 2.2) and A-G GPA 3.1 (Will probly reach 3.4) what do you think

csu fresh, my Uc gpa(the one they ask for, which they got a calculator for is 2.98), cumlative gpa is 3.13, got cumulative gpa of 3.13(got straight A's in freshman year, and close to straight As in senior year right now, too bad it does not count).1830 october sat, 28 act

I need your take on this! I’m a hs senior from Oahu, Hawaii, and I have a 3.2 cumulative – math’s messed me up every single year. My SAT scores are all right; I have a 580 for Writing (though I know this often doesn’t count), 570 for Critical Reading, and 410 in Math. My math has always been weak, but I’m really strong in English. I’m a PR agent for a local tv show producer, and am the Editor-in-Chief of our school paper.

What chances do I stand in getting accepted? My college counselor told me that they’re lowering the standards for OOS students because we pay them more anyway.

I applied for an Entertainment Studies major, and a Journalism major as a second choice.

Please, tell me what you think! I applied already, and I know all I can do now is wait, but I reallly would like to get in.

Other schools I’ve applied to are:
CSU San Marcos, Chapman University (Dodge College of Film - Screenwriting Major), and Concordia University inIrvine.

So i have my letter from the admissions with the CWID
I set up my profile and email today
I have the right stuff grade wise
and i have sent my SAT scores in

What do i do next and what do i do to find out if i got accepted?

I am also applying to CSUSD and CSULB
any help would be appreciated
