Does anyone know when CSUF will release decisions as to whether or not we got accepted?

I was waitlisted
3.5 GPA
Biology

Just curious… anyone else still have ‘no decision’? If so what major? My son is pre-business.

@momofgr8son Still waiting here. Nursing major.

I was admitted for biological sciences!

Hi. Sorry for the late response! I was notified via email in Feb. Hope this helps!!

Has anyone here heard back from the President’s Scholar application for an interview? My daughter applied, but we haven’t heard anything other than an email the application was submitted.

My son was admitted with distinction today! (pre-business) So glad the wait is over! Best wishes everyone!

Got rejected today for psychology …what?

Says this on my portal:

Comments
Your academic GPA is below the minimum CSU requirement of 2.50 for First Time Freshman.
— You are deficient in one or more of the “A-G” subject requirements with a grade of C- or better by high school graduation.

I’m an intl applicant who got into every other CSU and multiple UCs…my GPA cannot be below 2.5 to get into those ( it’s 3.9) and I know I went beyond A-G requirments ( UC portal confirmed that when I was inputting courses).

Why would CSUF say this? Any clue?

@Anxiouscollegestuden I had the same exact rejection with those comments, and I have over a 4.0 GPA, am fully qualified with my A-G courses, accepted at a different CSU and a UC, as well as MULTIPLE out of state colleges. I also have an 30 additional credits above what’s required for graduation. I was absolutely devastated to see this because I know there is a mistake, and I even contacted my high school counselor to make sure I did everything right (she double checked everything yesterday and said I have everything I need to be accepted) and she told me to file an appeal immediately. I suggest you appeal as well - because there is something wrong!! I tried calling the office of admissions but they are only open Monday through Wednesday from 8 to 1 PM. I even called the department of the specific major I applied to and emailed everyone I could. No response so far. Please come back and update when you can. Best of luck.

Oh wow that’s really strange! I wonder why this could be ;/ feels like they just forgot out applications and filled up spots and then saw our apps and had to reject us and give 2 really weird reasons for it.

CSUF is not reallt a top choice for me and i 97% would not go. Should I still appeal?

@Anxiouscollegestuden I would appeal based on the face that their decision is a mistake and untrue. If they rejected us, imagine how many others they did it to that are also qualified. CSUF Nursing is my top choice, and if more people who are rejected unfairly do file an appeal they may look closer into it and correct their mistake. The appeal is a short process. It’s a form you fill out and attach transcripts and any other information to that shows why you were rejected in error. It took me 15 min. Admissions Appeals - Office of Admissions | CSUF

I was also waitlisted
Theatre major, 3.6 GPA, 7 AP classes, 2 honors
But I committed to Cal State LA instead!
